Project Status
In December 2025, Trans Mountain submitted a project notification and followed with an application in early February 2026 to the CER.
Trans Mountain has filed an application with the Canada Energy Regulator (CER) to increase the use of Drag Reducing Agent (DRA) in our pipeline system. DRA is a proven, widely used additive in the global pipeline sector that reduces friction to optimize capacity and maximize the performance of existing infrastructure. It is injected in very small amounts and does not compromise pipeline integrity or safety. DRA is currently used on our system to improve flow efficiency.
